Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Collision on South Avenue 20 [Los Angeles, CA]
Two Suspects At Large after Fatal Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash near North Broadway
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 22, 2024) – Saturday morning, one man was killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle collision on South Avenue 20.
The incident occurred around 7:40 a.m., at the intersection of South Avenue 20 and North Broadway in Lincoln Heights.
Per reports, a possible Ford F-150 ran past a red light and hit the rider, causing the rider to fall off the motorcycle.
Shortly after, another oncoming vehicle ran over the victim and fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Responding medical units transported the rider to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not been released to the public.
Police are actively working to identify the two drivers involved in the collision. Those who witnessed the fatal South Avenue 20 hit-and-run are encouraged to contact the LAPD as soon as possible.
