22-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle vs Semi-Truck Collision near Hartman Road

MARICOPA, AZ (May 22, 2024) – Thursday morning, Devin Fiedler was fatally struck in a motorcycle crash on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

Dispatchers received calls in the area near Hartman Road just before 7:00 a.m., on May 16th.

Officers say Fiedler was riding a motorcycle in the area and struck a semi-truck that was making a turn at the intersection.

The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle onto the road, causing critical injuries. Due to the extent of his condition, medics later pronounced 22-year-old Fiedler, of Casa Grande dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver remained at the scene and he cooperated with the officials. Impairment was not suspected as a factor of the collision, police added.

Also, the authorities blocked the highway between White and Parker Road and Murphy Road while the authorities conduct further investigation.
