67-Year-Old Irvine Man Pronounced Dead after Rollover Crash near Trabuco Road
IRVINE, CA (May 16, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, Allen Yangkaou Lee was fatally injured in a red-light rollover accident on Culver Drive.
Police officers responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m., on the northbound lanes of Culver Drive near Trabuco Road.
Investigators say the driver of a 2004 Toyota Corolla attempted to avoid a Honda Civic that was making a turn against a red light.

Responding emergency personnel transported the Corolla driver to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries on Monday night. Authorities identified the deceased victim as 67-year-old Lee, of Irvine.
Irvine police are now searching for a silver or beige 2008 to 2011 Honda Civic with racing-style decals on the lower doors. Those with additional information regarding the incident are encouraged to contact Detective Christopher Ostrowski at 949-724-7047.
