73-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident near West Street

CLOVIS, NM (May 15, 2024) – Late Monday evening, Vincent Galvan was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on 7th Street.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m., near West Street on May 6th.

Upon arriving, the authorities found Galvan suffering from life-threatening injuries, and immediately transported him to Plains Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

There, 73-year-old Galvan succumbed to his injuries.

A witness told police officers that the suspect who hit Galvan did not remain at the scene. Furthermore, the suspect was last seen heading northbound on Hull Street, but no identification was released by authorities.
