23-Year-Old San Fernando Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Beachwood Drive

BURBANK, CA (May 14, 2024) – Wednesday night, Christopher Torres was fatally struck in a motorcycle accident on Olive Avenue.

The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m., near Beachwood Drive.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a sedan and a motorcyclist collided in the area. However, further circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear.

Following preliminary duties, investigators do not suspect intoxication to be a factor in the collision.

First responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Burbank officials later identified the deceased rider as 23-year-old Christopher Torres, of San Fernando. 

Additionally, the sedan driver stayed at the site of the crash and cooperated with the investigation. Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal motorcycle accident to contact Detective Ryan Murphy at 818-238-3103.
