38-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Single-Car Accident near Roeser Road

PHOENIX, AZ (May 13, 2024) – Late Friday afternoon, a rollover collision on 23rd Avenue claimed the life of Terrell Guerra.

Police responded to the scene near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and Roeser Road around 4:50 p.m., on May 3rd.

Investigators say Guerra was driving a vehicle in the area at a high rate of speed and struck a curb. As a result, the vehicle overturned, ejecting two passengers from the vehicle onto the road.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 38-year-old Guerra deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the passenger to a nearby hospital for further treatment of serious injuries.

In addition, a third occupant from the vehicle fled the scene and is still currently at large.

No added information was provided by the authorities at this time, and the crash is still under investigation. Once available, further details will be provided.
