Julian Santana Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on North Mesa Street [El Paso, TX]
26-Year-Old Rider Fatally Injured in Solo-Motorcycle Crash near Executive Center Boulevard
EL PASO, TX (May 13, 2024) – Tuesday evening, a motorcycle accident on North Mesa Street claimed the life of Julian Santana.
The incident happened just before 10:00 p.m., at the 4100 block of North Mesa Street near Executive Center Boulevard on April 30th.
Per reports, 26-year-old Santana was heading north at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. As a result, Santana crashed into a nearby bench and was ejected onto the road.
Medical personnel arrived and transported Santana to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding road for a brief time during clearing operations.
Following preliminary duties, authorities say speed was a contributing factor in the collision. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
