Unidentified Driver Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Fiery Collision on 83rd Avenue
GLENDALE, AZ (May 10, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a pickup truck driver was killed in a fiery car accident on Glendale Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 12:40 p.m., near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue on April 13th after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
According to investigators, the driver of a pickup-truck was turning from a private parking lot onto Glendale Avenue. There, an eastbound vehicle struck the pickup-truck, causing the truck to catch fire.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced the driver deceased. Although, police have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Emergency crews shut down a portion of the roadway temporarily to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. No further details regarding the fiery car accident on Glendale Avenue have been disclosed to the public. Police will provide more information once available.
