56-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Lustig Court

HAYWARD, CA (May 7, 2024) – Friday night, a man was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on Tennyson Road. 

Officers responded to the scene around 10:23 p.m., at the intersection of Tennyson Road and Lustig Court.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim lying on the roadway with fatal injuries. Despite the life-saving efforts of the first responders, the 56-year-old man died at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old woman driving the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. 

At this time, the identity of the deceased pedestrian remains undisclosed to the public. Police are working to determine if intoxication played a role in the collision.
