22-Year-Old Man Arrested, Three Hospitalized after Car Accident on Peoria Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (May 6, 2024) – Saturday, authorities arrested Anthony Curtis after a multi-car crash on 28th Avenue.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 28th Drive and Peoria Avenue on April 27th.
Law enforcement spotted 22-year-old Anthony Curtis speeding in the area.
Upon spotting police officers, the suspect lost control of the vehicle and eventually colliding with multiple other cars. Amidst the chaos, multiple occupants from inside the suspect vehicle attempted to flee the scene.
A patrol officer then struck a child who ran into the roadway. Paramedics arrived and transported three victims, including a child, to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The victims are currently listed in stable condition.
