Forestville Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Challenger Way [Santa Rosa, CA]
65-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision at Corporate Center Parkway
SANTA ROSA, CA (May 3, 2024) – Saturday evening, a pedestrian crash at Challenger Way left a man with fatal injuries.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m., police officers responded to the scene near Corporate Center Parkway.
Per reports, the driver of a southbound gray Mazda SUV struck a man who was running across to the road for reasons unknown.
Responding paramedics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he remained in critical but stable condition. However, the 65-year-old man from Forestville succumbed to his injuries eight days later.
Authorities said the driver involved in the collision remained at the crash site and cooperated with the investigators. The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the deceased man.
