Thomas Balicki Killed, 1 Hurt in ATV Rollover Crash on El Camino Del Cerro [Tucson, AZ]
30-Year-Old Passenger Dead, One Man Injured in ATV Rollover Collision near Silverbell Road
TUCSON, AZ (April 30, 2024) – Early Monday, Thomas Balicki was killed and another was hurt in an ATV rollover crash on Silverbell Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 1:30 a.m., just west of Silverbell Road on April 22nd.
According to reports, an ATV veered and rolled while heading west on El Camino Del Cerro. The driver, not identified, was trapped underneath.
Balicki, the passenger on the ATV, was ejected onto the roadway and struck by a passing vehicle. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 30-year-old Balicki dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver who was trapped to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Officers say the driver who struck Balicki stayed at the scene and cooperated with the responding officers. Authorities will release additional information as it becomes available to the public.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information about the fatal ATV crash on El Camino Del Cerro is still ongoing.
