Thomas Henry Billeter Killed in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Houghton Road [Tucson, AZ]
81-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near East Keystone Road
TUCSON, AZ (April 29, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Thomas Henry Billeter was fatally injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Houghton Road.
The fatal collision happened at approximately 10:00 a.m., in the 4400 block of South Houghton Road, near east Keystone Road on April 23rd.
Per reports, 81-year-old Billeter veered his Volkswagen off Houghton Road, after making a hard right turn just south of East Escalante Road.
As a result, the Volkswagen tumbled numerous times before eventually halting at the bottom of a steep embankment. Responding paramedics rushed Billeter to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators are actively exploring whether a medical condition may have prompted the driver to veer off the road.
Authorities released no further details to the public regarding the single-vehicle rollover crash on Houghton Road. San Francisco Officials will provide more information once it is available.
