One Pronounced Dead after Car Accident near Chapman Avenue

ORANGE, CA (April 25, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, one person was pronounced dead after an auto collision on 55 Freeway.

Police officers responded to the scene around 5:20 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Chapman Avenue on April 23rd.

At this time, further events leading up to the car accident still remain unclear. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced one occupant dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Emergency personnel shut down three southbound lanes were blocked during the length of the incident. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal auto collision on 55 Freeway.
