Arriaga Negrete, Liliana Mendoza, Jorge Guerrero, and David Guerrero Killed in Car Crash on Highway 120 [Manteca, CA]
Four, Including Infant, Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near Van Ryn Avenue
MANTECA, CA (April 25, 2024) – Saturday, Arriaga Negrete, Liliana Mendoza, Jorge Guerrero, and David Guerrero died in a crash on Highway 120.
Around 10:00 p.m., police received reports near Van Ryn Avenue.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a Toyota Sienna minivan was heading west and veered off the highway into a grass median strip. The vehicle then dropped down an underpass, where it overturned and caught fire.
Four people died in the accident including 44-year-old Arriaga Bonifacio Negrete, 40-year-old Liliana Guerrero Mendoza, 12-year-old Jorge Negrete Guerrero, and 4-month-old David Negrete Guerrero.
The three survivors were described as two girls aged 6 and 14, and a 9-year-old boy. Paramedics transported all three to nearby hospital. Medics took the 6-year-old girl to UC Davis Medical Center with major injuries.
According to the investigators, it was the second quadruple-fatal crash in the Modesto area in four days. The loved ones of the family set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this difficult time.
