Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on Sherman Way [Reseda, CA]
Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Etiwanda Avenue
RESEDA, CA (April 24, 2024) – Sunday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Sherman Way.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m., near Etiwanda Avenue on April 14.
Investigation showed that a man in his 60s was crossing Etiwanda Avenue when he fell on the ground. At the same time, a dark-colored sedan was heading eastbound on Sherman Way.
There, the driver of the sedan struck the man, and the driver failed to remain at the scene. Emergency responders arrived and they transported the male pedestrian to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Due to the extent of his condition, the male pedestrian in his 60s later passed away at the hospital. Authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
