37-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Harcourt Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 17, 2024) – Late Thursday, Leonardo Sanchez Palomar was killed in a hit-and-run speeding crash on Adams Boulevard.
Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Adams Boulevard near Harcourt Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed collided with another vehicle. The speeding car then crashed into a nearby building.
First responders declared the driver of the car that was hit dead at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities continue to search for the driver of the speeding vehicle who is believed to have fled the scene on foot.
Later, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the deceased driver as 37-year-old Leonardo Sanchez Palomar.
