45-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on South P Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 17, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, Estella Andino was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Ming Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 2:10 a.m., near South P Street on April 13th.
According to reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck Ming as she was walking in the area and immediately fled the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders located Andino lying on the road with no signs of life. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 45-year-old Andino deceased at the scene.
Emergency personnel shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, no information about the suspect or the vehicle is available and further investigation remains active.
