Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near San Bruno Avenue
SAN BRUNO, CA (April 16, 2024) – Monday night, one man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on Highway 101.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:12 p.m., on the southbound lanes of the freeway just south of San Bruno Avenue.
Based on the initial investigation, a Hyundai Sonata collided with the man walking in an easterly direction in the southbound lanes. Upon impact, the driver of the Hyundai pulled over and waited for emergency responders to arrive.
Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains undisclosed to the public.
