5 Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on North Loop 250 Service Road [Midland, TX]

Five Injured in Single-Car Accident near Garfield Street
MIDLAND, TX (April 16, 2024) – Friday evening, five victims were hospitalized after a rollover crash on North Loop 250 Service Road.
The incident occurred around 9:10 p.m., March 8th, in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Garfield and “A” Street.
According to reports, a 2001 GMC Yukon occupied by five people was involved.
The Midland Police Department determined that the Yukon was heading east between Garfield Street and A Street when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn several times.
As a result, several occupants from inside the Yukon were ejected from the vehicle, sustaining serious injuries. All five people were transported to the hospital, where one of the victims was listed as critical state.
Police say that the occupants’ ages range from 16 to 22-years-old. Furthermore, the identities of any of those involved in the accident have not yet been released by Midland Authorities.
Following preliminary duties, authorities tagged alcohol and speed as the contributing factors to the collision. Further investigation is underway.
