Kyle Farrell Killed in Red-Light Motorcycle Crash on 51st Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
21-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Grovers Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (April 15, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, Kyle Farrell was killed in a red-light motorcycle crash on 51st Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene at the intersection of 51st and Grovers Avenue, just north of Bell Road on April 9th.
According to reports, the motorcyclist, 21-year-old Farrell, failed to stop for a red light and hit a vehicle on 51st Avenue. The impact left Farrell with life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics arrived and transported the severely injured rider to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, Farrell succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle and its occupants remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, police officers do not suspect impairment to be a factor in the deadly crash.
Emergency personnel also shut down the surrounding area for a brief time before it was later reopened.
An active investigation into the red-light motorcycle crash on 51st Avenue is still underway. Additional information will be released to the public once available.
