37-Year-Old Perris Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Decker Road

MEAD VALLEY, CA (April 15, 2024) – Monday morning, a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Cajalco Road claimed the life of Alfredo Aparicio.

The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m., at the 22600 block of Cajalco Road near Decker Road.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in the area. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.

Around 7:42 a.m., the body of the vehicle was discovered in the area .2 miles from Seaton Avenue, just west of I-215. 

The coroner and the California Highway Patrol later identified the deceased pedestrian as 37-year-old Aparicio, of Perris. 

Police have not released any additional information regarding the suspect of the suspect’s vehicle. Mead Valley Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal hit-and-run to contact the CHP at 951-637-8000.
