Tawnya Sanders Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident on North Capital of Texas Highway [Austin, TX]
60-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near Champion Grandview Way
AUSTIN, TX (April 10, 2024) – Friday evening, Tawnya Sanders was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on North Capital of Texas Highway.
The incident occurred at the 6400 block of North Capital of Texas Highway near Champion Grandview Way around 9:45 p.m., on March 22nd.
At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that two vehicles collided in the area.
First responders located Sanders pinned inside her vehicle upon arrival. Emergency crews immediately extricated Sanders and began saving her.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 60-year-old Sanders deceased.
In addition, paramedics transported another victim to St. David’s South Hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries. Although, police have not yet released her name or place of residency.
