1 Killed in Pedestrian Collision on 101 Freeway [Hollywood, CA]
Unidentified Victim Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near North Wilton Place
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2024) – Early Wednesday morning, one person was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on 101 Freeway.
The incident occurred around 12:39 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near North Wilton Place.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the far left lane of the highway. Despite life-saving efforts, first responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains undisclosed to the public.
It was unclear if the driver involved stayed at the site of the crash and cooperated with authorities. California Highway Patrol officers issued a Sigalert closing all the lanes of the northbound Hollywood Freeway for investigation.
