18-Year-Old Suspect Arrested after Fatal Collision near Southeast 192nd Street

RENTON, WA (April 2, 2024) – Friday, Andrea Hudson, Matilda Wilcoxson, Eloise Wilcoxson and Boyd Brown died in a crash on 140th Avenue SE.

Authorities responded to the 19200 block of 140th Avenue Southeast around 12:45 p.m., near Southeast 192nd Street on March 19th.

For reasons under investigation, multiple vehicles collided in the area, causing several occupants to be trapped inside their vehicles.

Medics arrived and pronounced 38-year-old Andrea, 13-year-old Matilda, 12-year-old Eloise, and 12-year-old Boyd deceased.

Following preliminary duties, authorities arrested 18-year-old Chase Jones and charged him with four counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault, and reckless driving.

Meanwhile, emergency crews blocked off the intersection of Southeast 192 Street and 140th Avenue Southeast during the length of the incident. Authorities later reopened the surrounding area around 7:45 p.m.
