49-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Highway 180
FRESNO, CA (April 1, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, Ervin Price was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Highway 41.
Shortly after 1:00 a.m., police officers responded to the scene near Highway 180 on March 30th.
According to reports, the driver of a southbound Land Rover veered off the road and into an encampment. There, the vehicle fatally struck 49-year-old Price.
Moreover, officers say the Land Rover driver fled the scene on foot.
Investigators also say it was raining at the time of the collision. No additional information was added, and the Fresno County Coroner’s Office is handling further investigation.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more information will be provided about the fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 41.
