One Unidentified Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near Crestway Road

CONVERSE, TX (March 27, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, one rider was pronounced dead after a head-on motorcycle crash on Gibbs Sprawl Road.

Converse Police Officers quickly responded to the scene around 12:40 a.m., near Crestway Road on March 14th.

For reasons under investigation, the rider of a motorcycle struck a four-door sedan head-on in the area. As a result, the rider was thrown out from his motorcycle, causing life-threatening injuries.

Responding paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased. Although, police have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, emergency crews determined that the involved driver was not under the influence. Investigators say no charges were filed against the sedan driver.

The Converse Police Department shut down the surrounding roadway for a brief time during clearing operations. An active investigation is still currently underway to determine more information about the fatal motorcycle crash on Gibbs Sprawl Road.
