Victim Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Morningside Drive Northeast
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (March 21, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, one victim was hospitalized after a pedestrian crash on Central Avenue Northeast.
On February 15th, at around 2:00 a.m., the Albuquerque Police Department responded near the area of Central Avenue Northeast and Morningside Drive Northeast.
According to the responding troopers, the collision involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, where the pedestrian was struck and sustained life-threatening injuries. Police temporarily shut down the surrounding area to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Consequently, paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for further treatment. No additional details were added by the troopers, and the APD Motor Unit is handling further investigation.
