Maria Valencia Arrested after DUI Collision on Rohnert Park Expressway [Rohnert Park, CA]

Two Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Accident near Commerce Boulevard

ROHNERT PARK, CA (March 20, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, Maria Valencia was arrested after a DUI collision on Rohnert Park Expressway.

Authorities responded to the scene around 2:37 a.m., near Commerce Boulevard.

Per reports, the driver of a westbound Scion struck a northbound Toyota pickup-truck at the intersection.

Emergency personnel extricated the man driving the Scion from the vehicle and transported him to a hospital with major injuries. Meanwhile, one of the two male passengers inside the Toyota pickup was hospitalized with moderate injuries. 

Police also arrested the driver of the pickup, identified as 44-year-old Maria Valencia, after showing signs of DUI. Authorities booked Valencia into jail for suspicion of two counts of felony DUI with blood alcohol content greater than .08.
