79-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near South Peach Avenue
TYLER, TX (March 20, 2024) – Monday morning, Evencio Arellano was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Front Street.
The incident occurred around 8:40 a.m., at the 1800 block of West Front Street near South Peach Avenue on March 18th.
According to reports, the driver of an unknown vehicle struck 79-year-old Arellano in the area. Paramedics arrived and transported Arellano to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officers say the incident occurred away from any crosswalk or intersection.
