43-Year-Old Suspect Detained after Three-Vehicle Collision near Division Street
SPOKANE, WA (March 19, 2024) – Early Tuesday evening, Tim Vopalensky was arrested after a DUI 3-vehicle collision on Interstate 90.
Dispatchers received calls shortly after 5:00 p.m., near Division Street on March 5th.
Per reports, Vopalensky was weaving in and out of traffic lanes and collided with two other vehicles. The driver then fled the scene before police arrived.
Shortly after, officers located the suspect vehicle on US Highway 2 near South Hayford Drive. Consequently, authorities apprehended Vopalensky and charged him with DUI and felony hit-and-run.
