Woman Killed, James Michael Wolfe Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 18 [Palmdale, CA]
Dual-Car Collision near 263rd Street East Left Female Driver Dead
PALMDALE, CA (March 13, 2024) – Friday night, James Michael Wolfe was injured in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 18 that left a woman dead.
The fatal collision happened around 11:00 p.m. along the westbound lanes of SR-18, just west of 263rd Street East.
According to CHP, an eastbound 2020 Dodge Ram collided with a 2018 Ford traveling westbound.
Responding emergency personnel said the woman inside the Ford sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. At this time, officials only identified the deceased woman as a Lake Balboa resident in her 50s.
Meanwhile, the paramedics transported the Ram driver, 43-year-old James Michael Wolfe of Palmdale to Antelope Valley Medical Center.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner will release the identity of the deceased victim once the next of kin has been notified.
Palmdale Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal two-vehicle crash to contact the CHP Antelope Valley Area office at 661-948-8541.
