Two Hospitalized after Patrol-Vehicle Collision near Dickson Road
PLYMOUTH, CA (March 12, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash on Shenandoah Road sent an officer and Peter Ramirez to a hospital.
Police officers responded to the scene around 4:00 p.m., near Dickson Road.
A California Highway Patrol officer attempted to pull over an eastbound vehicle on Shenandoah Road, when the patrol vehicle was broadsided by a westbound 2024 Mercedes.
Medics airlifted the injured officer to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Meanwhile, the Mercedes driver, identified as 46-year-old Peter Ramirez of Fairfield was flown into UC Davis Medical Center.
Emergency crews partially blocked Shenandoah Road for 30 minutes during clearing operations.
