31-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near Loop 289

LUBBOCK, TX (March 7, 2024) – Friday night, Sara Hill was killed and Jackson Rowden was hurt in a rollover accident on Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Officers responded to the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m., near Loop 289.

Based on the report, 31-year-old Sara Hill was outside of her vehicle that was “disabled.” Shortly after, the driver of an eastbound pickup-truck struck the vehicle.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 31-year-old Hill dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the truck driver, 23-year-old Jackson Rowden sustained minor injuries.
