39-Year-Old Man Arrested after Single-Vehicle Crash near Seal Beach Boulevard

SEAL BEACH, CA (March 6, 2024) – Early Monday morning, Victor Carranza was killed in a solo-car accident on North Gate Road.

Dispatchers received calls in the area around 2:00 a.m., near Seal Beach Boulevard.

Reports indicate that Carranza was driving a vehicle and lost control before overturning. As a result, the female passenger was ejected from the vehicle onto the road.

Upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced the female passenger dead at the scene.

Following preliminary duties, officers arrested 39-year-old Carranza, of Los Angeles on suspicion of causing bodily injury, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
