Teen Girl Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Cardinal Lake
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (March 6, 2024) – Late Thursday night, one teen girl was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Greenhouse Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:50 p.m., at the 4600 block of Greenhouse Road near Cardinal Lake on February 15th.
Investigation shows that the driver of a GMC pickup-truck struck a teenage girl who was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk.
The impact pushed the pedestrian into the path of a southbound Nissan Sentra who also struck her. Paramedics arrived and transported the teen girl to a nearby hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the drivers of the GMC and the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division has not released any additional information.
