Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision on West Lewis Street [Pasco, WA]
Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Crash on 14th Avenue Resulted in One Fatality
PASCO, WA (March 6, 2024) – On Friday, a collision occurred in the area of West Lewis Street and 14th Avenue.
According to Pasco Police Department Sergeant Richard Leininger, the collision involved a motorcycle and a vehicle.
Furthermore, the investigation showed that the rider was headed eastbound on Lewis Street when he collided with the front driver side of the vehicle headed northbound on 14th Avenue.
Consequently, the emergency responders arrived at the scene and attempted to save the rider. However, they were unsuccessful and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moreover, the intersection was blocked for several hours and it was reopened by 10:00 p.m. Authorities have not released any further information about the fatal accident.
No charges were filed against the driver at this time, and the incident is still under investigation.
