1 Fatally Struck in Bicycle Accident on FM-529

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (March 6, 2024) – Tuesday evening, one person died in a bicycle crash near Highway 6, reports say.

According to the authorities, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m., when he was hit while crossing FM-529 near Highway 6.

Consequently, a preliminary investigation revealed that the impact threw the man off the bike, and as he was walking to pick it up, he was hit by a second car.

Moreover, the driver of the first vehicle that hit the man stopped and rendered aid. Meanwhile, the authorities transported the bicyclist to Memorial Hermann via Life Flight, where he died.
