40-Year-Old Female Driver Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Levelland
HOCKLEY COUNTY, TX (March 5, 2024) – Sunday, Neecy Reyna was killed and Santa Reyna and Leslie Smith were hurt in a two-car collision.
Authorities responded to the scene around 3:20 p.m., on State Highway 114 near Levelland on February 25th.
Per reports, Neecy Reyna was pulling out of a driveway onto the freeway. There, the driver of a westbound truck, 62-year-old Leslie Smith, struck the vehicle.
Paramedics arrived and transported Neecy and her passenger, 44-year-old Santa Cruz Reyna, to Covenant Medical Center for further treatment. Due to the extent of her condition, 40-year-old Neecy later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, Smith was given treatment at the scene and was later released.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal two-vehicle collision on State Highway 114.
