Josarina Woody Arrested after DUI Collision on 51st Avenue [Glendale, AZ]
30-Year-Old Woman Detained after DUI Accident near Bethany Home Road
GLENDALE, AZ (March 5, 2024) – Friday evening, Josarina Woody was arrested and one was injured after a DUI collision on 51st Avenue.
Police officers responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m., near Bethany Home Road on February 23rd.
Investigators say Woody was pulling out of a driveway and ran over her girlfriend who fell in the road, causing injury.
Witnesses called authorities and reported the incident. Shortly after, officers located 30-year-old Woody near 51st Avenue and Bethany Home Road with a 5-year-old child in the back seat.
Per reports, two breathalyzers showed her blood alcohol level as above 0.178. Following preliminary duties, crews arrested Woody and took her into jail with six charges including extreme DUI and aggravated assault.
