Gladyce Thorson Nielsen Killed in 3-Vehicle Collision on 7th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
86-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Car Accident near Thomas Road
PHOENIX, AZ (March 4, 2024) – Late Tuesday morning, Gladyce Thorson Nielsen was killed in a 3-vehicle collision on 7th Avenue.
Dispatchers received calls in the area around 11:00 a.m., near Thomas Road on February 27th.
First responders located a dark-colored sedan and a tan SUV with extensive damage. In addition, another vehicle was involved.
Emergency personnel arrived and took 86-year-old Nielson and one man to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced Nielson deceased.
Meanwhile, the man was listed in stable condition. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
