Female Pedestrian Injured in Pickup-Truck Crash on Vickers Avenue
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 29, 2024) – Late Tuesday night, one woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian collision on South Zarzamora Street.
Around 10:00 p.m., officers responded to the scene near Vickers Avenue on February 13th.
The San Antonio Police troopers were dispatched to the intersection where a woman was struck by a pickup truck. Troopers learned that the woman ran over the highway and got struck by the pickup truck where she obtained serious injuries.
Consequently, the paramedics transported the woman to the hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the scene and the troopers are checking if intoxication played a factor.
At this time, it was unknown if there were arrests made, and further investigation is underway.
