One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash near Indian School Road
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (February 28, 2024) – Tuesday evening, one victim was killed in a pedestrian accident on Carlisle Boulevard.
Police officers received calls in the area around 10:00 p.m., near Indian School Road on February 21st.
Upon arrival, first responders located the involved pedestrian down on the road suffering from serious injuries. Due to the extent of their condition, medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Investigators have not yet released the victim’s name or place of residency.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Albuquerque authorities have yet to release if the driver will face any charges, and the APD’s Fatal Crash Team is handling further investigations.
