50-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Accident near Brandt Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 28, 2024) – Friday afternoon, one rider was fatally struck in a motorcycle collision on Highway 58.

The accident happened around 3:00 p.m., near Brandt Road.

For reasons under investigation, a Dodge pickup-truck and a motorcycle collided in the area. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.
