One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on South Virginia Street

RENO, NV (February 28, 2024) – Friday evening, one pedestrian died in a car accident on Crummer Lane, police said.

Officers responded to the fatal incident around  6:50 p.m. at the intersection of South Virginia Street and Crummer Lane.

Based on the investigators, the pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Consequently, authorities transported the victim to an area hospital but later died shortly after arriving.
