31-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Faith Home Road

TURLOCK, CA (February 28, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, Eileen Ordoniez was fatally injured in a DUI accident on Fulkerth Road.

Authorities responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m., near Faith Home Road.

Investigators say the driver of a southbound 2013 Buick sedan drove through a posted stop sign and struck a 2004 GMC pickup-truck that was towing a cattle trailer.

First responders declared a female passenger from inside the Buick dead at the scene. The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office later identified the deceased woman as 31-year-old Ordoniez, of Modesto.

Meanwhile, medics transported the 17-year-old Buick driver to Doctors Medical Center for moderate injuries. Following preliminary duties, police arrested the teen for suspicion of DUI, and she is currently being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Meanwhile, the 49-year-old man driving the GMC and his passenger did not sustain any injuries. Turlock Officials continue to investigate the fatal DUI crash.
