89-Year-Old San Jose Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Galahad Avenue
SAN JOSE, CA (February 27, 2024) – Victor Siqueiros was fatally struck Saturday afternoon in a pedestrian accident on Story Road.
Around 12:15 p..m., police responded to the scene near Galahad Avenue on February 10th.
Per reports, the driver of an eastbound 2015 Honda Civic was traveling through the intersection on a green light and struck a man who was crossing against a red light.
Following the collision, the Civic driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigation. First responders transported the male pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries 10 days later.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the deceased pedestrian as 89-year-old Siqueiros, of San Jose.
