25-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Valencia Road

TUCSON, AZ (February 27, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, Jordan Overton was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Craycroft Road.

The incident occurred just before 5:50 a.m., near Valencia Road on February 13th.

Reports indicate that Overton was involved in a single-vehicle collision when he exited his vehicle. Overton then began walking towards the westbound and eastbound lanes to avoid the troopers attempting to confront him.

There, the driver of a westbound SUV struck Overton, causing life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced 25-year-old Overton, of Maricopa dead at the scene.
