67-Year-Old Stockton Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Williams Drive
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (February 27, 2024) – Wednesday evening, a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard claimed the life of Johnny Lee Davis.
The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m., in the area of Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive.
Officers say the driver of a gray 2021 Tesla Model Y was heading south on Beach Boulevard. There, the driver struck Davis who was walking west in the road for reasons unknown.
First responders declared the 67-year-old Davis, of Stockton dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old male driver of the Tesla remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police do not believe impairment played a factor.
Huntington Beach Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal pedestrian crash to contact the investigators at 714-536-5231. Once available, further details will be provided.
