Adrian Dominguez Killed in T-Bone Collision on Gateway East [El Paso, TX]
42-Year-Old Reckless Driver Pronounced Dead after Red-Light Crash near Benson Drive
EL PASO, TX (February 26, 2024) – Saturday evening, Adrian Dominguez was killed in a t-bone collision on Gateway East.
Authorities responded to the scene at the 7700 block of Gateway East near Giles on February 17th.
Investigators say Dominguez was driving a VW Beetle east in the left-turn lane. He entered the intersection on a red light and t-boned a Dodge Charger, driven by a 24-year-old man, that was traveling south through a green light.
Upon impact, the Beetle was pushed into a stopped SUV in the northbound lanes. Paramedics arrived shortly after, and transported 42-year-old Dominguez to a nearby hospital where he later passed away.
